Referral Procedure Changes

If you are registered on Book I, you should have recently received changes to the IBEW 275 Referral Procedure.  If you are registered on Book II, the notices are sent to your home local union.  Some on Book II may have been mailed direct provided we had accurate address information.  In September 2011 the Delegates to the IBEW Convention approved a resolution to bring some parity to sign/resign procedures for local unions.  Since that time the IBEW has issued an update to referral policy rules including a standardization of resign procedures.  From June 1, 2012 forward locals are required to have resign from the 10th through the 16th of each month.  Certainly compliance may be different in certain locals, but it appears most are updating.  Further, local unions can no  longer require that the resign be accomplished through the home local union, so Book II can resign directly with whatever local union they may have signed with.  The goal is to bring some type of s...   IBEW Local 275 Merchandise February 2012 We just received a new shipment of t-shirts, with designs by Local 275 Brother Rob Ivery. We used Brother Ivery’s design for the front pocket. Thanks. The new T’s are blue with white lettering. Supplies are limited, so get them soon. We also have some other types of shirts that have been in stock for a long time. Stop in to check them out!! Website Upgrades & Login

So far the new website is up, running, and working quite well. Please let us know of any issues you have so we can get those addressed. The login information for the site is your last name for the username, and your card number for you password. Once you login you will be asked for demographic information, which will update our ICS database automatically. We are still working on news, contracts, and other info to upload.
